Donna Gayle Smith Beard

Donna Gayle Smith Beard, age 51, of Toccoa passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 at her home.

 Born February 10, 1973, she was the daughter of the late Ann Bates Turner and the late Ted Hunnicutt.

 Mrs. Beard handled quality control for Carry-On Trailers and Chauga Gas Station and was a member of Christ Fellowship Church.  She loved to shop and loved her kids.  She had a big heart and a bright smile.

 Family members include her friend, Christel Palmer, of Toccoa; sons, Jonathan Wood (Taylor Turner), Hunter Beard and Colton Hayes; daughter, Skylar Hayes (Seth Seymour); adopted daughter, Breanna George; grandchildren, Knox Wood, Chesney Wood, Blaise Beard and Kayson George; sister, Angie Moore (Jeremy); nephews, Shane Moore, Cooper Moore and Jace Moore; and father of her children, Marvin Hayes.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Hunnicutt.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
