Toast of Toccoa Postponed Until May 18

Due to the increasing forecast of inclement weather and thunderstorms this weekend, Toast of Toccoa has been rescheduled until May 18.

Main Street Manager Kristen Deal explained that the decision to postpone the event was made with the safety of all attendees at the highest priority, in hopes that the rescheduled date will have better weather and be enjoyable for everyone.

Toast of Toccoa is one of the biggest downtown events of the year, featuring artisans from the Currahee Artists Guild, along with other regional arts organizations, and other craft and market vendors, who will have their work on display and for sale. In addition to the market, a variety of craft beer and regional wine tastings, local food trucks, live music, and open businesses and restaurants are expected to participate.

Toast of Toccoa is always one of the liveliest days of the year in Downtown Toccoa, Deal said, adding that Main Street Toccoa hopes everyone can make plans to attend the event on the rescheduled date of May 18.
