Clidie Sue Cole Voyles

Clidie Sue Cole Voyles, 93, of the Red Hill Community, left her earthly home,
Thursday, afternoon, July 28, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 5, 1929, in the Middle River Community, she was the daughter of the
late Ira and Lela Davison Cole. She was the widow of the late T E “Tommy” Voyles,
and grandmother of the late Donna Voyles. She In 1946 Clidie and Tommy married and
moved to Red Hill. They opened and operated T E Voyles Store and later with their
youngest son, Kenny, until his passing in 1980. Clidie was a long time member of Allens
United Methodist Church where she enjoyed being a Sunday School and Vacation Bible
School teacher.

Survivors include her children, Gerald (Janice) Voyles, Janet (Emmett) Callahan,
and Kenny Voyles, all of Carnesville; three grandchildren, Sherry V. Smith, Tina C.
Rowland, and Clint Callahan; great-grand-children, Adam, Austin, Avery, Cole, Ryne,
Ella, Julien, and Evan; brother, Ira Tate Cole, of Carnesville.
Services will be 3pm Sunday afternoon Sunday afternoon at Allens United
Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Garner. Interment will be at Franklin Memorial
Gardens.

Her body is at Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville. The family is at the home and
will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2pm until 3pm at Allens United Methodist
Church prior to the service. Flowers are welcome but memorials may be made to Allens
