TCC grants alcohol license to Currahee Creative Arts Studio

The Toccoa City Commission met on Monday for its regular scheduled meeting; during the meeting, the commission approved an application for an alcohol license.

According to City Manager Billy Morse, Currahee Creative Arts Studio was requesting the alcohol license.

Morse says, the Alcohol Beverage Control Board met in April and has recommended the City Commission grant the license.

A motion approving the alcohol license was made by Commissioner Terry Carter with Commissioner Gail Fry seconding the motion. The motion was approved 4-0 with Mayor Jeanette Jamieson being absent.
