SCBC sign letter of support for EMA/911 Director Rhodes be appointed to Vice-Chairperson for EMA of Georgia Board
The Stephens County Board of Commissioners approved a motion authorizing Chairman Dennis Bell to sign a letter of support for EMA/911 Director Danielle Rhodes be appointed as GEMA Area 1 Vice-Chairperson for the Emergency Management Agency of Georgia.
During the recent commission meeting, County Administrator Phyllis Ayers explained that Rhodes had been appointed to the seat.
Bell said he’s proud of Rhodes’ accomplishment.
Ayers also announced that Rhodes was appointed to the Georgia Association of Public Safety Communication Officials board.
Vice Chair Debbie Whitlock made a motion approving the letter of support with Commissioner Michelle Ivester seconding the motion.
The motion was approved unanimously.
