Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter announces closing to the public until further notice

The Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter has announced that the shelter will be closing to the public until further notice.

According to Executive Director Jeff Roberts if you want to adopt an animal or register for their low-cost spay/neuter program you can call the shelter at 706-282-3275.

In accordance to National Animal Care and Control recommendations the shelter’s intakes is closed at this time.

Additionally, Animal Control will only be responding to high priority calls at this time.

If you have questions, please call the shelter at 706-282-3275, call will be returned 11:00 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Tuesday through Saturday.
