Power of Hope holds Focus on Cancer dinner tomorrow

A special evening for cancer patients and those who are care givers.

Sponsored by the non-profit, cancer support group Power of Hope, the evening is called Focus on Cancer and according to Power of Hope director Mary Jo Fesperman it’s an opportunity for Power of Hope members to celebrate cancer survivors and their caregivers.

The evening includes a free dinner as well as vendors, which Fesperman says will offer lots of information for cancer patients and their loved ones.

Special guest speaker will be the Reverend Dick Patton.

All of the events at the Focus on Cancer evening Tuesday are free of charge and Fesperman says you do not have to live in Franklin County to attend.

The Focus on Cancer dinner evening takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with dinner at 6p.m.

Again, it takes place Tuesday evening in the fellowship hall of Lavonia First Baptist Church and is free and open to the public.
