Lady Indians Volleyball Starts Season with Two Wins
The Stephens County Lady Indians Volleyball Team traveled to Dawson County High School Tuesday for a tri-match with Union County and host Dawson County.
The Lady Indians gain their first two wins of the season by defeating Union County in straight sets 25-9 and 25-7.
In the night cap, the Lady Indians defeated host Dawson County in straight sets by the score of 25-23 and 25-17. Stephens County’s current record is 2 and 3.
The next home match is today in a tri-match with West Hall and Habersham Central. The first match starts at 5 p.m. and the second match will start at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, Aug. 19, the Lady Indians will host its annual “Varsity Playdate” hosting seven other schools from South Carolina and Georgia.
The Lady Indians match times are 9:00, 10:00, 12:00, and 3:00. Admission is $5.
