Stephens Co. Baseball Hosts Awards Banquet
Stephens County High School’s Baseball program held their banquet on Wednesday night at the Stephens County High School Bistro.
The Indians finished the season with a record of 21-17 and 4th place finish in Region-8, and provided much excitement for fans and the community on their 4A State Playoff Elite Eight run.
Stephens County Head Baseball Coach Greg McCall says it was great to have everyone together to honor a special team.
“It was a great night. Thrilled to be in front of them and their parents to go through their accomplishments, and hopefully this is the tip of the iceberg to come. These are great young men. They put us on the map. Elite Eight which is special. The community got behind us and it was a great ride.”
Eighteen players lettered in 2017. Award winners from Wednesday night’s banquet included:
