Clarkesville Police Investigating Drug Store Burglary

clarkesville robberyThe Clarkesville Police Department is asking for the public’s help involving a recent burglary that occurred at a store in the Habersham County town.

Clarkesville Police said that on Sunday at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers dispatched to an alarm at Clarkesville Drug on West Louise Street in Clarkesville.

Officers said that upon arrival, they observed that the front glass entry door had been broken by a large rock that was thrown through the glass.

According to authorities, inspection of the store video security footage revealed what appears to be a black male wearing blue jeans, navy blue jacket with a hood, green shirt and white tennis shoes, enter the pharmacy through the broken glass door.

Police in Clarkesville said that this unidentified subject is also believed to be associated with another incident that occurred at Clarkesville Drug on Saturday night where the power to the pharmacy had been intentionally turned off.
