SHANE CLARK

A Celebration of Life for Shane Clark will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, July 5, 2024, in the Chapel of Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.

Shane was born in Gainesville, Georgia on November 27, 1972. He is the son of the late Diann Patton and Wayne Clark. He is preceded in death by his mother, Diann Patton.

Shane is a graduate of Gainesville High School where he was known for his athletics. From there he continued his football career and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. His passions brought him back home, where he met and married his wife and started a family. He was a devoted family man, and he lived his life for his wife and children. He loved being involved in anything his children, Callie and Buddy, were committed to, and he was eager to teach, mentor, watch, and he especially loved to coach the many athletic endeavors they pursued. As a football family, Shane returned to one of his first loves: football. Together, Kara and he became heavily involved with the North Hall Junior Trojans, where he coached for 8 years.  Unable to give up on his love for the game, he continued to coach at North Hall Middle School and North Hall High School. In the almost 12 years of coaching Shane touched and developed many young men both on the field and off. While pursuing his passion and doting on his wife and children, he also pursued a long career in real estate and construction business all his adult life. He was the owner and operator of Clark Construction Management, LLC. Shane worked hard, played hard, and loved big, and his family was always at the center of his thoughts.

Shane is survived by his wife Kara Schneider Clark, daughter Callie Clark, son Buddy Clark; Father Wayne Clark; Sister Candace Clark; Brother Chris Clark; Niece, Hannah Clark; Nephew, Evan Clark; Aunt and Uncle, Marla and Frank McSwiney; Uncle, Dale Clark; Aunt, Carol Clark; Uncle Chris Patton; Uncle Jeff Patton; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Ken and Freda Schneider, and a number of cousins.
