SCSO Announces Drug Arrests

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office is announcing two drug-related arrests.

According to a press release from Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley, his office, along with the Mountain Judicial Circuit NCIS Team and State Probation arrested 30-year-old Quincy M. Jones of Falls Park Apartments in Toccoa last Thursday. Jones is charged with obstruction of law enforcement officers, abandonment of dangerous drugs, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Elsewhere, Shirley said that in a separate incident last Thursday, his office along with Toccoa Police, the Mountain Judicial Circuit NCIS Team, and State Probation executed a search warrant on Green Street in Toccoa. As a result of the search, 24-year-old Christopher L. Webb of Webb Road in Martin was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
