JV Football Team Wraps Up Season

As the varsity football team at Stephens County High School prepares for the playoffs, the Junior Varsity team looks back at its season.

The JV Indians wrapped up their season on October 27 against Hart County.

Head JV Football Coach Greg McCall and Assistant Coach J.R. Roberson appeared on “Crunchtime” last week to talk about the season.

McCall said that Stephens County had a good season overall this year.

“We ended up with a 4-2 record,” said McCall. “We had four games where we scored over 40 points.”

He said the team scored all but one of its touchdowns by running the ball.

“We were a very dominant tackle to tackle rushing team,” said McCall.
