Indian Baseball Falls At Home To White Co.

The Stephens County Indians fell to White County 6-3 Monday in Region 8-AAAA baseball action at the Reservation.

White County jumped out early, scoring two runs in the top of the first.

The Warriors added another run in the second, two more in the third, and another run in the fourth.

The Indian defense also committed seven errors, helping the White County offense.

Stephens County did rally for a run in the third inning and two more in the fourth inning.

However, the Indians left five men on base in the final three innings.

For the game, Stephens County got seven hits off of White County starter Trey Cantrell, but left 12 men on base during the game.

Stephens County is now 1-1 in the region.

Next up for the Indians is Madison County at the Reservation on Wednesday at 5:55 p.m.
