Hospital Auxiliary Awards Banquet Held

DSC_0254Stephens County Hospital recognizes its Auxiliary.

The Stephens County Hospital Auxiliary held its 53rd annual Awards Banquet back on September 18 at the Gate Cottage on the campus of Toccoa Falls College.

Auxiliary members heard from Hospital Authority Chairman Mark Wilkinson and Hospital Administrator Ed Gambrell, who both thanked the Auxiliary for the work that the Auxiliary puts in each year.

Meanwhile, Martha Mitchell was the keynote speaker for the banquet.

In addition to that, auxiliary members received service pins for accumulated hours worked, ranging from 100 hours worked up to 2,000 hours worked.

The Teen Volunteer Program was also recognized during the banquet.

This past year, the Auxiliary gave a total of more than 3,455 hours of work to the hospital, bringing its total to more than 388,633 hours overall.
