Family Connection Fundraiser Winners Announced

The winners have been announced for a recent fundraising event for a local agency.
Family Connection of Stephens County held its “Are You Smarter than a Stephens County Fifth Grader?” competition this past Saturday night at the Tugaloo Center for the Performing Arts at Stephens County High School.
29 adults making up 10 teams participated in the competition, which also included eight Stephens County fifth graders selected from all four Stephens County elementary schools by their teachers because of their intellect and personality.
The first place team was a team representing the Simmons-Bond Inn. Team members included Ben Johnson, Maria Johnson, and Todd Cusato.

Second place went to a team representing the Pittard Clinic. Team members were Joni Powell, Christina Oliver, and Dr. David Bloomer.
The third place team was the Stephens County Department Trio team of Denny Folsom, Tim Mitchem, and Christen Collier.
All of the proceeds from the event went to benefit Family Connection of Stephens County.
