Law enforcement officials are currently on scene and blocking roads in the neighborhood between Mize Road and Pond Street, in between Spring Street and Sautee Street, roughly… the situation is unknown at the moment, but I did speak to a Georgia State Patrol Trooper who could not give me details, but did say that it was not an active shooter situation and indicated that the public is not in danger. Citizens are advised to avoid the area as there is no through traffic being allowed. That is all the information we have at the moment. WNEG News will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
