WorkSource Georgia Mountains Welding Bootcamp in Lavonia starts next week

There are only a few days left to register for WorkSource Georgia Mountains upcoming Welding Bootcamp.

The Welding Bootcamp will be held at the Lavonia Community Center from October 18 through November 23.

WorkSource Georgia Mountains Senior Trainer Micah Thomas tells WNEG News anyone who desires immediate full-time employment and is highly motivated to start permanent work is welcome to apply.

Thomas says Worksource Georgia Mountains recently graduated eight students from its welding bootcamp.

Thomas says the Bootcamps are four-week training classes where students can learn the basics of the welding profession.

He says those interested in participating will need to meet certain requirements to be eligible for the class.

Again, classes scheduled for students in Franklin, Hart, and Stephens counties will run from October 18 through November 23 at the Lavonia Community Center.
