Voting now open for Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Awards Banquet
The Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce is asking the public to cast ballots for its annual Awards Banquet.
According to Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen, citizens can vote for the nominated businesses and individuals now until July 31st.
She says they are looking for sponsors for the banquet.
The annual Awards Gathering will be held on September 28 at 6 p.m. at The Venue at Broken Bridge Farms, located at 341 Williams Circle, in Toccoa. Tickets for the event are $75 and guest are asked to wear garden party attire.
The 2023 Chamber Award Nominations are as follows:
For Excellence in Business—North Georgia Credit Union, Patterson Pump, and Stephens County Hospital;
For Non-profit of the Year—Northeast Georgia CASA, Toccoa-Stephens County Library, and the Tugaloo River Water Trail;
For Entrepreneur of the Year—Derek and Sarah Addison, Michele Whiten, Terri Goethe, and Olivia Adams;
For Agriculture Business of the Year—Fieldale/Springer Mountain Farm, Peach House Farm LLC, and Stephens County Canner;
For Manufacturing/Industry Business of the Year—ASI Southeast, Inc., Sage Automotive Interiors, Stephens County Hospital, and Trachte Southeast;
For Retail or Restaurant Business of the Year—Angel Oak Home, R&R Prime, and Troups Studio & Gifts;
For Service/Professional Business of the Year—Addison Agency, Bulldog Xpress Lube + Wash, Jaymarz Signs & Graf-X, and Stephens County Development Authority;
For Volunteer of the Year—Ashley Sharp, Cassandra Wilkins, and Stacy Miller;
For Young Professional of the Year—Christian Hamilton from Stephens County Government, Karly Herring from 1st Franklin Financial, Brooke Westbrook from Peach State Federal Credit Union, and Mason Adams from Adams Container Corporation;
For Tourism & Promotion—Simmons Bond Inn, Currahee Club, The Venue at Star Theater, and Pine Cove Springs.
