Vinson Recognized as Work-based Learning Student of the Month

Stephens County Development Authority recently recognized the October Work-Based Learning Student of the Month Cameron Vinson. Cameron is a senior at Stephens County High School and is employed at Ingles of Toccoa. He has been a part of the Ingles team since April of 2023. 

Store Manager, Jeremy Bennett, praises Vinson’s contributions stating, “Cameron is a model employee. He has a great work ethic and is a great example for other employees.”. 

Work-Based Learning officials state that Vinson is not only excelling at his job but also in educational journey at SCHS. Having already successfully completed the Audio-Video Tech and Film Pathways, he is now actively working towards completing the Welding Pathway. 

Stephens County High School Welding Instructor, Chris Holland, commends him as “a great, hard-working young man who is always ready to help on whatever project needs to be done.”

In addition to his academic and professional achievements, Vinson’s character shines through in his interactions with others. Julie Green, his advisor, describes him as ‘an amazing person with a kind heart. He is hardworking, and I love getting to see him working when I go shopping. He is always smiling and a good friend to his peers. He is well deserving of this award.”

As graduation approaches, Vinson is is considering pursuing opportunities in both photography and welding.
