Vendors needed for upcoming Harvest Festival

Main Street Toccoa is looking for vendors for the 44th annual Toccoa Harvest Festival.

This year, the festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 30, and Sunday, October 31.

Sharon Crosby is the Events Coordinator for Main Street Toccoa. She says the Harvest Festival attracts close to 10,000 attendees each year.

The two-day event features over 125 vendors who showcase their homemade, home-baked, or home-grown products.

Crosby says there’s still time for vendors to sign up for the festival.

The fee for craft vendors is $40 per space.

Crosby says there are many local residents who have already been accepted into the festival.

She says there are other crafters from nearby communities in Northeast, Middle and South Georgia, South Carolina, and as far away as Florida, Wisconsin, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

Vendors will be selling a variety of items including handmade quilts, soaps, fountains, jewelry, wooden furniture, pottery, Christmas decorations, wreaths, jellies, candles, children’s clothing, wind chimes, aprons, baked goods, folk art, pillows, and painted glass just to name a few.

Crosby says anyone interested in being a craft or food vendor in the 44th annual Toccoa Harvest Festival should request an application from the Main Street Toccoa Office.

For information or to receive an application contact Crosby by calling 706-282-3309 or go to www.mainstreettoccoa.com to download the application form.
