Storytime for ages birth–5 begins on September 8 at 11 a.m.
The Lions Club annual Peace Poster contest is going on now, and all posters are due by Oct. 22. In order to be a top winner, you must be 11, 12, or 13 by November 15.

The library will be starting a Memoir Writing Group on September 17, at 3pm. There will be no judgement on content or ability, just a chance for you to come and write your own memoir.
The Local Author Showcase is on September 24, from 4-6pm, and will feature Stephanie Maley, Emily Sprowls, Daniel Graham, and Lori B. Duff.
The library will host a Creepy Doll Workshop on Friday, October 9, at 4pm. Teens through adults are invited to come make a creepy doll in celebration of the Halloween season.
On October 19, at 5pm, the library will learn to dance the Time Warp! The public is invited to come out and learn the dance, laugh, and have a great time.
On Friday, October 30, the library will host Boo! In The Bookstacks, where all members of the community are invited to come in, show off their costumes, trick or treat, and just enjoy the day.
