TSCHS Employee test positive for COVID-19

Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter Executive Director Jeff Roberts has announced that one of the Humane Shelter employees has tested positive for COVID-19.

Roberts says that employee is at home in quarantine.

Additionally, Roberts says two employees was in close contact to the employee that tested positive and are now getting tested.

The shelter will be closed today and tomorrow, November 28, so that the shelter can be deep cleaned.

Roberts will be reaching out to the Health Department and reviewing the current response to make sure that further testing or other action is not needed; he says a reopening plan will be determined after talking to the Health Department.
