TPD makes arrest following traffic stop

The Toccoa Police Department recently made an arrest following a traffic stop.

According to Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize, around 10 p.m. on January 17, Toccoa Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on Collins Road for driving too fast for conditions due to snow and icy road conditions.

Carrie McIntosh, 30, of Toccoa was driving on a suspended license and had an active bench warrant from Toccoa Municipal Court for removing and affixing a license plate to conceal vehicle’s identity.

McIntosh was arrested and charged with Driving on a Suspended License and Driving Too Fast for Conditions.
