Toccoa/Stephens County E911 Report For Jan. 10
On Thursday, Jan. 9, Stephens County Dispatchers handled more than 120 dispatch requests, including citizen-initiated calls, alarm responses and agency requests.
Of those calls, 44 were initially routed to the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, 53 were initially routed to the Toccoa Police Department, 1 was initially routed to the Toccoa Fire Department, 1 was initially routed to Stephens County Fire Services, 7 were initially routed to Stephens County EMS and 4 were routed to the Stephens County Marshal’s Office. Additional responding agencies included Georgia State Patrol and Toccoa City Hall. Other agencies, in addition to the initial agency, frequently respond to an incident, with the lead agency determined by the specific circumstances.
On the dispatch report for these days were 7 suspicious vehicle/person/activity reports, 20 business checks, 8 medical-related calls, 5 reports of theft/burglary/shoplifting, 2 alarm responses, 4 animal-related calls, 2 domestic situations or Temporary Protective Order Violation reports, 4 transports or agency transfers,, 4 requests for unlock service, 9 traffic stops and 3 vehicle crashes, none with reported injuries, 1 reported structure fire (residential).
