Toccoa Rookie Baseball All-Stars win District 7 Title

The Toccoa Rookie Baseball All-Stars defeated Hart County 13-6 on Monday night, June 1, in Hartwell to win the District 7 Title. Emerson Edge was the winning pitcher and also hit a triple to lead Toccoa. Earlier in the tournament, Toccoa defeated Franklin County 9-5, Oglethorpe County 12-1, and Hart County 9-5.  The Toccoa Rookie Baseball All-Stars move on to the Northeast Georgia Sectional Tournament hosted by Martinez-Evans Little League near Augusta. Toccoa’s first game will be Thursday night, June 4, at 8 p.m.
