Toccoa property taxes being mailed today

Toccoa residents will begin receiving property tax bills in the coming days as Smart Fusion, the software provider for Toccoa’s property taxes, will begin mailing taxes today.

Those taxes are due on November 15, 2021.

According to City Clerk Fredda Wheeler, payments by mail must be postmarked on or before the November 15^th deadline.

People can also pay in person at the Toccoa Municipal Building located at 92 North Alexander Street.

Those who pay late will have to pay a late fee, which is one percent of their total taxes due, in addition to any tax that is owed.
