Toccoa Falls in Senior Southeast Region Opener
The Toccoa Senior League All-Stars fell to the host team West Pasco, Florida 7-0 in the opening round of the Little League Senior Southeast Region in Safety Harbor, Florida this morning.
Caden Hamilton started the game and pitched 3 innings, followed by Carmelo Renfroe, Ryan King, and Dylan Elrod.
Renfroe, King, Landry Williams, and Isiah Patterson had hits for Toccoa.
Gavin Hurtado pitched 3 and 2/3 innings for Florida to get the win.
Toccoa will now face an elimination game with the next contest scheduled for Sunday at 11:45 A.M.
Toccoa is the Georgia state champion, and the tournament has teams representing North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, and Florida. The Southeast Region Tournament is live streaming all of the games on their website at: http://slbsoutheast.org
