Toccoa Falls Eagles for Life Club receives Scholarship
By Toccoa Falls College (TFC)
Toccoa Falls College recently hosted a 5K fundraising run organized by the Eagles for Life club. Proceeds from the event will support the club’s upcoming trip to Washington, D.C., where members will participate in the National March for Life later this month. In addition to the strong turnout and fundraising success, the Eagles for Life club proudly announced that eight of its student members have been awarded scholarships to attend the National Pro-Life Student Summit.
Eagles for Life club President, Aeryn Anderson, stated, “Our club is the only pro-life club here on campus. Our mission is to help students become loving, active pro-life resources grounded in biblical principles. When we started the club, we all agreed it was about creating a space where people could ask the hard questions and get real answers. We understand as a club that there are so many different voices telling people, especially students, what to believe nowadays, so we didn’t want to do that… we just wanted a place for education.”
The club hosts two events annually to raise awareness of the sanctity of life: Everybody Deserves a Birthday and the Pro-Life Reception. These events showcase the club among students, faculty, staff, and the community.
As the Eagles for Life Club prepares for their journey to Washington, they do so with gratitude, purpose, and a heart to honor Christ in all they do.
