Toccoa attorney’s recent interim suspension has been lifted

The Toccoa attorney who recently received an interim suspension by the Supreme Court of Georgia, suspension has been lifted

According to the Supreme Court of Georgia, on September 26, a motion to lift Timothy Paul Healy’s interim suspension was granted.

Healy is an attorney with The Healy Law Firm, located in Toccoa, and has been practicing law since June 1979.

Healy received his interim suspension from practicing law on September 20, 2019.

At the time of his interim suspension, the State Bar of Georgia, stated that Healy had failed to respond to the State Bar’s notice of investigation.

The Supreme Court’s initial order stated that Healy be suspended from the practice of law in Georgia until further order of the court; however, now that the suspension has been lifted, Healy is now permitted to practice law yet again.

The initial grievance against Healy dates back to December 31, 2015, according to the Supreme Court of Georgia records.
