Toccoa 12U Little League Falls in Both Weekend Games

The All-Star season came to an end for Toccoa Little League with 2 losses this weekend in the District 7 12U tournament in Oglethorpe County.

On Saturday, Franklin County scored 6 runs in the 2nd inning and took advantage of 10 Toccoa walks to roll to an 8-2 victory over Toccoa.

Hayden Harvey had 3 RBI’s and picked up the win on the mound for Franklin County.

Toccoa’s JP Robinson had 3 hits that included a home run. Greyson Wilson added 2 hits and an RBI.

On Sunday, Elbert County banged out 15 hits to defeat Toccoa 7-4.

Bo Miller led the Toccoa offense with all 4 RBI’s.

Franklin County and Hart County will meet in the winner’s bracket on Monday. Elbert County and Oglethorpe County will face off in an elimination game.

The Toccoa Little League will host the 11U state tournament at Doyle Street Park beginning July 11.
