TLL returns to Doyle Street this Fall, registration begins today

Toccoa Little League has announced that tee ball, baseball and softball is returning to Doyle Street this Fall.

In a release issued on Monday, the organization will operate under additional health and safety guidelines, specifically regarding distancing measures for both players and spectators.

The first two scheduled registrations will be today, August 4, and on Thursday, August 6, both from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Field 2 Concession Stand.

According to officials with Toccoa Little League, registrations will be set up so that social distancing measures are upheld.

They add that while they are optimistic that conditions will remain such that they can compete and have a complete season, they understand that changes in public health mandates could impact their ability to continue.

Because of this risk, this Fall, players will be allowed to wear their Spring uniforms during competition.

In doing so, registration fees for returning, Spring registered players with uniforms is reduced.

Newly registering players will be provided a hat and uniform.

Registration for Tee Ball, ages four to six is $35 per player; Rookie/Minor/Major Baseball and Softball, ages seven to 12 is $40 per player with Spring Uniform or $60 per player with New Registration; and Jr./Sr. Baseball (Ages 13 through 16) is $60 per player.
