Thursday is Stephens County Day at the State Capitol 

Thursday, March 12, is Stephens County Day at the Georgia State Capitol. Local dignitaries will travel to Atlanta and meet with leaders, says Julie Paysen, President of the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce.

County Days at the Capitol immerses Georgia’s county officials in the policymaking process by placing them in contact with their state counterparts, elected and appointed, so that they can engage in dialogue about proposed legislation and other significant issues that have a direct impact on county government.
