Three Charged in Meth Bust in White County

In White County, Three people are behind bars in connection with a traffic stop that led to multiple drug arrests in Cleveland.

Mitchell Posey with the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office tells WNEG News it happened last Thursday when Cleveland Police pulled over a vehicle driven by 39-year old Bobby Joe Mullinax, Jr. for a routine traffic stop

Inside his vehicle, Posey said officers found a pound of methamphetamine and about $1,700 in cash.

That led officers to search the home of Keith and Bradley Talley on Stanley Nix Road in Cleveland where Posey said officers seized more methamphetamine along with marijuana and various Schedule II pills.

In all, 460 Grams of methamphetamine, one ounce of marijuana, 30 Methyline pills, 73 Amphetamine and Dextramphetamine pills and 3 Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone pills were seized in that search.

The street value of these narcotics is $51,985.

Mullinax Jr. was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine.

Patrick Keith Talley was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and possession of Schedule II with intent to distribute.

Bradley Austin Talley was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of schedule II with intent to distribute.

All three were transported to the White County Detention Center.
