The Pointe Church hosting “The Cast” Event for Anglers This Month

Anglers make plans to attend a special day of fishing, fun, and family. It’s called “The Cast,” and takes place Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pointe Church in Eastanollee. The event will feature special guest speakers, fishing vendor booths, food trucks, and more.

Participants include North Fork Ministries, Tugaloo State Park, Travis Foulks (kayak fishing enthusiast), Georgia BASS Nation, Georgia Department of Natural Resources with their Electrofishing Boat, Brooks Anderson Guide Service, Jimbo on Lanier, Georgia Department of Natural Resources Outdoors Beyond Barriers, United States Marine Corps and Army recruiters, among others.

Special guest speakers include Bassmasters Classic winner and FLW Touring professional Ott DeFoe, Lake Lanier Guide Jimbo Mathley, touring fishing professional and Emmanuel University graduate Brooks Anderson, and fisheries biologist and Georgia Bass Nation president Tony Beck.

The Cast event is free to attend.
