Thank You Reception held for Chamber President Julie Paysen

A large crowd gathered at Reflections at Lake Toccoa on Thursday, June 11, to say thank you to retiring Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce President Julie Paysen.

Toccoa Mayor Evan Hellenga read a proclamation honoring Paysen’s years of service. 

Stephens County Commissioner Tara Simmons read a letter thanking her for being an advocate for businesses and the community. 

Stephens County Development Authority President and CEO Brittany Ivey thanked Paysen for growing the community with a servant heart and for being a trusted friend.

Chamber Board Chair Cassandra Wilkins said she has made a tremendous impact in the community.

Chamber Board Vice Chair Stephen Wallace said Paysen is just a great person and will be missed.

Paysen said working at the Chamber has been a joy.

Paysen announced in January that she would be retiring on June 30th.
