TFC Men Drop Conference Game Saturday

The Toccoa Falls College men’s basketball team drops a conference game at home.

Pensacola Christian College defeated the TFC men Saturday night, 83-71.

TFC shot just 32 percent from the field, including just 23 percent from beyond the three-point line.

Meanwhile, Pensacola Christian shot 50 percent from three-point range for the game, hitting 9 of 18 from downtown.

Josh Barrett led Toccoa Falls and all scorers with 30 points, with 24 of those coming in the second half.

Pensacola Christian College put four players in double figures, led by TJ Jackson’s 24 points. Jon Andrews added 12 points, while Joel Thomas and Tom Andrews each scored 11 points.

TFC is now 9-7 overall on the season and 2-2 in conference play.

The Screaming Eagle men return to action tonight against Truett-McConnell in Cleveland in a non-conference contest.

Moving to the girls’ side, Toccoa Falls picked up the win Saturday, defeating Pensacola Christian College 45-43.

The TFC women are now 7-11 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
