TFC baseball team knocked out of NCCAA World Series

The Toccoa Falls College baseball team played in the National Christian College Athletic Association World Series this past weekend in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Screaming Eagles were seeded number 4 in the double-elimination tournament, but lost Friday to Oakland City University in the first round, 5 to 0.

On Saturday, they were knocked out of the tournament by Trinity Christian College, 8 to 2.

The TFC baseball team finished with a record of 27-17, their first season winning record since 2019.

Two Toccoa natives were on the team—Pitcher Josh Henshaw, a 2020 graduate of Stephens County High School, and Chathan Clouatre, a 2021 graduate of Tallulah Falls High School.

Both were named to the 2nd team of the NCCAA South All-America Team.
