TCC will consider Ground Penetrating Radar Scan and Cemetery Mapping Services during today’s meeting

The Toccoa City Commission will meet today for its regular scheduled meeting.

The meeting will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. inside the City Commission/Court Room at Toccoa City Hall.

Up for consideration includes a proclamation for National Recovery Month, the consideration of Ground Penetrating Radar Scan and Cemetery Mapping Services, and a public hearing and initial zoning for annexation request from Peggy Henson for the property located at 188 Northside Drive.

For the ground penetrating radar scan and cemetery mapping services, the city will consider three proposals.

The first proposal comes from GeoModel. The cost for each section of the cemetery is as follows: West–$16,900; Center–$19,500; and East–$15,900.

The second proposal is from OMEGA Mapping Services. The cost for each section of the cemetery is as follows: West Historic Section–$14,480; Central Section–$20,230; and East Section–$14,155.

The third proposal is from New South Associates. The cost for each section of the cemetery is as follows: West Section–$40,650.24; Center Section–$51,577.65; and the East Section–$36,599.04.

Again, the Toccoa City Commission will meet today at 5:00 p.m. inside the City Commission/Court Room at Toccoa City Hall.
