TCC to hold first reading and public hearing for FY22 Budget

The Toccoa City Commission will hold the first reading and public hearing for the Fiscal Year 2022 Operating Budget during its regular scheduled meeting this evening.

According to City Manager Billy Morse the proposed 2022 Budget totals $38,650,006.

The general fund in the 2022 Fiscal Year totals $10,509,606, the Water/Wastewater Fund totals $12,463,481, the Natural Gas Fund totals $11,683,796, the Solid Waste Fund totals $1,169,332, and the Lake Toccoa Facilities Fund totals $327,024.

The budget also includes Reserve Funds totaling $971,415 and Special Revenue Funds totaling $1,525,239.

The Fiscal Year 2022 Budget is an increase of $6,117,596 or 18.8 percent over last year’s budget.

The Commission will also consider two proclamations, one for Professional Municipal Clerk’s Week and the other for National Safe Boating Week.
