TCC approves Standard Utility Agreement with GDOT to replace Falls Road Bridge

The Toccoa City Commission approved a motion to enter into a Standard Utility Agreement with the Georgia Department of Transportation during its meeting on Monday.

According to City Manager Billy Morse the agreement will allow the Georgia Department of Transportation to carry some of the cost to relocate the sewer line on Falls Road for the bridge replacement over Toccoa Creek.

Morse says this agreement will offset the cities cost by 31 percent or $57,856.

A motion was made by Vice Mayor Jeanette Jamieson with Commissioner David Austin seconding the motion.

The motion was approved unanimously.
