TCC and Mayor make appointments for 2020

During the recent Toccoa City Commission meeting there were several appointments made by both the Mayor and the Commission.

Billy Morse was reappointed City Manager.

Fredda Wheeler was reappointed City Clerk.

Paul Garrison was reappointed City Chaplain.

In one fell swoop, Commissioner Jeanette Jamison made a motion to appoint all three individuals.

The motion was seconded by Commissioner Gail Fry, and was unanimously approved.

Toccoa Mayor Terry Carter made the following appointments:

Vice-Mayor Evan Hellenga and Jamieson were appointed to the Humane Shelter Committee.

Jamieson was appointed to the Rural Conservation and Development Board.

Commissioner David Austin was appointed to the Toccoa-Stephens County Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Mountains Regional Commission.

Fry was appointed to the Stephens County Board of Health and the Keep Toccoa-Stephens County Beautiful Board.

Carter will serve on the Stephens County Development Authority, the Airport Authority, the Downtown Development Authority, and the Historic Preservation Commission Liaison.
