Stuff The Bus 5K Saturday

Stuff The Bus organizer and Toccoa Rotary Club member Leon Womack has a message before tomorrow’s Stuff The Bus 5K run/walk at Boyd Field in Toccoa “We need runners”.

Again, your time on this course, can be used to secure a closer starting spot in the Peachtree Road Race Qualifier, and Womack says all runners and walkers are welcome. The cost to participate is $25 and two cans of food per runner.

The Toccoa Rotary Club’s goal for “Stuff the Bus” is to collect food to distribute to local residents and Womack says they are off to a great start “We have approximately $9000 to $9500 and we’ll split the money with the Food to Kids Program and The Hope Center (Toccoa Soup Kitchen).”

Again, the race is tomorrow with registration beginning at 7:00 A.M. and the race starting at 8:00 A.M.
