Stephens County Voters to decide SPLOST VIII Today

Stephens County voters will cast ballots on the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax or SPLOST VIII today, Tuesday, November 4. This is the continuation of the existing one-cent sales tax that targets all visitors to the county, explains Stephens County Administrator Christian Hamilton.

This is not a new tax, says Hamilton.

Voting takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Stephens County Historic Courthouse located at 37 West Tugalo Street in Toccoa.
