Stephens County travels to Prince Avenue Christian for Varsity Football Game Tonight

The Stephens County Indians travel to Bogart tonight to take on the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines in high school varsity football action.
The Indians are coming off an exciting comeback win over the Franklin County Lions last Friday night at home, 24-20. With that win, Stephens County improved to 3-3 overall and 1-0 in Region 8-AA.
Prince Avenue Christian, who was rated #2 in the state at the time, was upset last Friday night in Hart County, 31-28. Their record is now 4-2 overall and 0-1 in Region 8-AA.
This will be Stephens County’s first trip to Brad Akins Field on the campus of Prince Avenue Christian. Last year, the Indians lost a home game to Prince Avenue, 49-7. Kickoff tonight is at 7:30 p.m.
Last night on the Crunch Time radio program, Indians’ Tight Ends Coach Cayden Maxwell said the Indians go up against a very good quarterback and running back tonight.

In other games in Region 8-AA tonight, Franklin County travels to East Jackson and Hart County plays at Hebron Christian.
Elsewhere in the area, Habersham Central travels to Clarke Central, Madison County visits North Oconee, Rabun County hosts Commerce, and Banks County travels to Athens Academy. White County has the night off.
