Stephens County Sheriff’s Office warning about Scam

The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office – Georgia has been made aware of a scam targeting Stephens County residents, specifically in the Cross Creek community, says Rebekah Smith, Public Information Officer for the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office.

If you don’t know the number, don’t pick it up. Let the caller leave a voicemail so you can screen for scammers. If you think you may be talking to a scammer, hang up, and call 706-779-3911.
