Stephens County School System moves Virtual Orientation to Friday

Stephens County School Superintendent Dr. Daniel Oldham has announced a change in location and date for the Virtual Orientation.

Oldham tells WNEG News that due to an increase in the number of students enrolled in virtual learning, the Virtual Open House has been delayed until Friday, August 7 and will now be held at Stephens County High School.

The Virtual Open House will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. and from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Stephens County High School.

He says this delay will enable the district to adequately treat all devices and facilities with a disinfectant called PreventX 24/7.

For questions regarding the virtual open house contact the school system office by calling 706-886-9415.
