Stephens County plays East Jackson in Final Regular Season Game of Varsity Football Season

The Stephens County Indians will play their final game of the regular season tonight as they host the East Jackson Eagles at The Reservation in high school varsity football. Kickoff will be at 7:30.  

The Indians are 4-5 overall and 2-2 in Region 8-AA after defeating Hart County last Friday night in Hartwell, 21-10.  

East Jackson comes into tonight’s game with an overall record of 5-4 and 0-4 in the region.  The Eagles lost last Friday night to Prince Avenue Christian, 51-28.  

The Indians won last year’s game at East Jackson, 55-31.     

Last night on the Crunch Time radio show, Indians Head J-V and Wide Receivers Coach Greg McCall said East Jackson has good players on both sides of the ball.

In other Region 8-AA games tonight, Franklin County hosts Hart County and Hebron Christian travels to Prince Avenue Christian.  

In other games around the area this evening, Habersham Central plays for a region title at Jackson County, Banks County hosts Oglethorpe County, White County hosts Johnson of Gainesville, Rabun County travels to Elbert County, and Commerce hosts Providence Christian.
