Stephens County Planning Commission recommends approval of New Private School
The Stephens County Planning Commission recommended approval of a conditional use for the operation of a small private school for Grace Fellowship-Toccoa on Alewine Drive at their monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 2, explains Stephens County Administrator Christian Hamilton.
The proposal is for a school of no more than 50 students in grades 5-8 on the church property to be a second option for students in the Toccoa and surrounding areas.
The Planning Commission is a recommending Authority for the Board of Commissioners.
The Planning Commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at 37 West Tugalo Street in Toccoa.
The Board of Commissioners hears the Planning Commission recommendations on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m.
