Stephens County Planning Commission asking for Studies on Recurring Issues

For the past few months, the Stephens County Planning Commission has heard variance requests concerning yard setbacks and zoning requests concerning agricultural residential and agricultural intensive. Planning Commissioner Brett Ivester requests that studies be done on these matters.

Ivester explains that Stephens County Administrator Christian Hamilton and his staff would conduct the studies.

The Stephens County Planning Commission is a recommending Authority for the Board of Commissioners. It meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Historic Courthouse at 37 West Tugalo Street in Toccoa.
